Our Commitment
- MinusOne does not read your entries.
- Every diary entry is encrypted on your device (AES-256-GCM) before it is stored. Only encrypted data is transmitted to the server, and the decryption key never leaves your device.
- We cannot see your entries. It is technically impossible for us to do so.
Information We Collect
- Account information: When you sign in with a social provider (Google, Apple, Kakao, Facebook), we receive your name and email address.
- Usage information: We collect the minimum metadata required to operate the service — for example, dates and counts of entries. We do not collect the content of your entries.
- Device information: For service stability, we collect your app version and operating system.
- Billing information: Premium subscriptions are processed through RevenueCat. Payment details are never stored on our servers.
How We Use Your Information

- Service-quality improvement, using aggregated and anonymized data only
Sharing With Third Parties
We do not share your personal information with third parties, except in the following cases:
- When required by law or legal process
- With partners essential to operating the service (cloud infrastructure, payment processing). These partners only have access to the minimum information required for their function.
Data Retention
- When you delete your account, all personal information and encrypted data are permanently deleted within 30 days.
- Information that must be retained by law is kept only for the period required by that law.
Your Rights
- You can delete your account at any time from within the app's settings.
- You can request to view, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you.
- You can withdraw your consent to processing at any time.
